Naarm/Melbourne outfit Fade Evare today announce their forthcoming debut studio LP, , due out July 11 via Astral People Recordings, sharing new single ‘Sky Writing’ in the process. 

With a dusty trip-hop beat, emotive string arrangements, a melodic bassline and lyrics pieced together from real-life text messages sent amidst a bleary-eyed, heart-bursting festival dawn, ‘Sky Writing’ lives up to its lofty namesake by capturing a brief moment of transcendence.

Vocalist Mira Holleman shares that “‘Sky Writing’ is a nostalgic recount of chaining hands to stick together in a crowd, shoulder rides and screaming your favourite song lyrics into the sky, reeling in the sun at the beach the morning after with my best friends, gazing at the clouds, exhausted but grateful”.
