FOUL PLAY lands this Easter Saturday as a full-throttle collaboration between Dutty Worldwide, Astral People and Heaps Gay, transforming Liberty Hall into a sweat-soaked, night-long dance ritual.
At the helm are Clementaum, Piolinda Marcela, Zeke and Fried Porkchop and Harry Gay, taking control of Liberty Hall with a high-energy, genre-blurring journey, backed by support from Dutty crew favourites Bapari, C.Frim, Maz, Marasia and Attu. Together, the lineup brings a shared focus on rhythm-led, body-moving sounds that sit firmly outside the mainstream.
Foul Play sounds like Latin and queer underground club culture colliding with baile funk, ballroom, bounce, house and dancehall, then pushing well beyond. It’s raw, playful and percussive, designed for packed dancefloors, shared movement and moments of pure release inside a beating Liberty Hall rave till late.
Adding to the chaos, the Heaps Gay family bring hosts Rocky Stallone and Ruby Teys to the mic, alongside performances and art to keep you hyped.
For years, Heaps Gay has coaxed Sydney out of its shell, creating spaces where queer communities and their allies can gather without apology, parties rooted in joy, expression and radical openness. FOUL PLAY is no different: a day-night built on connection, shaking down and a little chaos, soundtracked by artists guaranteed to get you out of your skin.
