Winston Surfshirt, were presented this week with plaques to celebrate triple gold certification of their sophomore set Apple Crumble.
In a statement to The Music Network Winston says "I wanted to make music forever and somehow had this blind belief, plus support from my family, that it would just happen one day cause I didn’t really know anything else - the love we have in Australia is unbelievable."
The news comes following the recent double platinum certification for their debut hit "Be About You" which has undoubtably proven the bands continued success.
Winston are deep in a release cycle working on their next record, with a stack of recent collaborative singles under their belts, including their latest song “Maybe I’m In Love With You” featuring Talib Kweli.
