Astral People & Handsome Tours are proud to present UK new wave rapper, Sainté, on his debut Australian and New Zealand tour this September. Dropping into our side of the hemisphere presenting his “Still Local’ Tour.

Sainté may be from Leicester, but his sound carries an undeniable West Coast vibe. He has been making waves in the UK’s competitive rap scene since the world first tasted his talent in 2019 with the release of “Envy Me”. The Leicester-based vanguard quickly gained recognition, receiving praise from the late great Virgil Abloh as well as being named by Complex as rap's biggest "Wildcard".

From his early days working at Nando's to his first viral hit “Champagne Shots,” Sainté's journey has been marked by his natural charisma and inventive flows. “Champagne Shots” epitomises his artistry: strikingly confident, hilariously wiry, and undeniably cool. This success paved the way for his breakthrough debut EP, Local MVP.

Sainté’s talent emerged from humble beginnings, evolving from writing raps

with his brother and friends to freestyling on the coach en route to basketball games. Today, Sainté is at the forefront of a new wave of artists who connect the worlds of music, fashion, and community. With over 300 million streams, live performances alongside Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats, and collaborations with Knucks and Miraa May. Featuring in campaigns for Louis Vuitton with the late Virgil Abloh, Billionaire Boys Club, and New Balance, and made notable appearances at this year's Paris Fashion Week alongside Gunna, YEAT, and WestSide Gunn.

Flipping the script once more with 2024’s mixtape Still Local, a multi-faceted project that delivers Sainté's signature sound and flow, his music reflects an authentic journey of experimentation, enriched by influences from jazz, hip-hop, and R&B. His diverse listening range has helped him flirt with the boundaries of UK rap.

For rap fans new and old, catch Sainté as he presents his future classics.
