Austrian-born and now firmly rooted in the UK underground, salute has carved a sonic landscape where speed and sweetness move as one. French house. UKG bounce. Percussion built for acceleration. Basslines that push things forward because standing still has never been an option.

TRUE MAGIC, released in 2024, confirmed what many already knew: a fully realised vision built from Japanese street-racing culture, classic house warmth and the emotional intensity of nostalgic video-game worlds. It featured friends, peers and boundary-pushers including Rina Sawayama, Disclosure, Sam Gellaitry and more. It debuted at #5 on the UK Dance Albums Chart. A milestone, and a signal that this story is moving quickly.

salute’s rise has been shaped by collaborations that cut through the noise. Early work with Charli XCX (“5 in the Morning”). “Peach”, created with UKG figurehead Sammy Virji, a meeting of two artists who understand momentum as language. And the breakout Ultra Pool EP on Mall Grab’s Steel City Dance Discs, cementing their kinship with the Australian scene.

salute returns to Australia with purpose, with a sound that stands confidently on its own.
